Travellers by Road, from the North and South, should leave the M6 at junction 36 and take the A590 signposted to Barrow-in-Furness. On entering ULVERSTON take the left hand turn, signed to CANAL FOOT and continue to the end of this road. Take the next signed left hand turn following the lane until you reach the Bay Horse.

Travellers by Train should change at LANCASTER and take the local branch line to ULVERSTON.

The nearest airport is MANCHESTER, although some flights can be pre-arranged with nearby Walney Island Airport.
